About the Role
As a Solutions Consultant in Global Payroll, you’ll act as a strategic partner to customers and internal teams, building trust and reinforcing confidence in the Remote partnership. You’ll bring your expertise in payroll services, sales acumen, and technical aptitude to help launch and expand Remote’s Global Payroll offering. What You Will Do
Partner with sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Global Payroll solutions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align product, marketing, and customer success initiatives.
Conduct client consultations to uncover needs, deliver tailored solutions, and drive adoption.
Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform product and sales strategy.
Present complex payroll concepts to clients and stakeholders in clear, compelling ways.
Leverage technical aptitude to understand, demonstrate, and analyze software solutions.
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Support product development by providing feedback and insights from client interactions.
What We Are Looking For
Deep understanding of payroll service models, including multi-country and multi-state payroll processing, compliance requirements, tax filings, wage and hour regulations, and employee onboarding/offboarding.
Demonstrated experience consulting on global payroll processes, with a proven ability to apply consultative techniques to uncover client needs, foster strong relationships, and deliver strategic recommendations.
Strong sales acumen with a solid understanding of sales processes and cycles, ideally in a SaaS or tech-enabled service environment.
Excellent storytelling and communication skills—you can simplify and convey complex payroll concepts in a way that resonates with both HR and executive audiences.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn, demonstrate, and analyze software solutions quickly.
Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration in a distributed team environment.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
Writes and speaks fluent English.
Nice to Have
Professional certifications such as FPC, CPP, or relevant HR/payroll credentials (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
Knowledge or familiarity with competitive payroll products and payroll industry landscape.
Knowledge or familiarity with PEO service models.
Experience working remotely.
