About this position
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and impact-driven Disaster Risk Management Senior Specialist to join our team in our Headquarters in Washington D.C.
What You Will Do
Assess DRM policies and lead the preparation of disaster risk profiles.
Provide technical advice on innovative financial instruments for resilience.
Engage with key stakeholders and contribute to communication strategies.
What We Are Looking For
Master's degree in relevant field; PhD preferred.
5-8 years of experience in disaster risk management projects.
Experience in innovative finance for disaster resilience.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Spanish and English; knowledge of French and Portuguese preferred.
