As an Accounting Superintendent at Ag Global Resources Services Limited, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency across our modern trade operations in Imo State. You’ll be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, tax compliance, and inventory controls while supporting strategic decision-making through timely financial reporting.
About the Role
This is a senior-level accounting position focused on financial control, compliance, and reporting. You will work closely with department heads and senior management to ensure accurate financial data drives business decisions. Your work will directly impact our ability to scale operations while maintaining fiscal discipline.
What You Will Do
Prepare and submit monthly management accounts including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow Statements.
Manage tax compliance and submit accurate tax reports to relevant authorities.
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and prepare debtors/creditors ageing reports.
Monitor and report inventory variances to support operational decision-making.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, FRCN standards, and CAMA.
Support internal audit procedures and implement anti-fraud controls.
Collaborate with department heads to deliver timely financial insights for strategic planning.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity across systems.
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience as an accountant or senior finance professional with a focus on management accounting.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations, FRCN standards, and CAMA.
Proficiency in financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and inventory controls.
Experience with internal audit procedures and anti-fraud controls.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Valid professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA).
Previous experience in modern trade or supply chain operations is an advantage.
