About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Magna International, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support our business operations.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using various programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, and others.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, code comments, and release notes.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of the codebase.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend new tools and techniques for improving our software development processes.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on design patterns, architecture, and scalability.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
Mastery of cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure.
Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.
