The Back & Middle Office Engineer designs and maintains systems that support trade processing and operational workflows, collaborating with various teams to enhance efficiency and accountability.
About the Role
This role partners closely with Operations, Trading, Accounting, Risk, and Technology teams—including regular interaction with senior leadership—to deliver scalable solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency across post-trade processes.
What You Will Do
Design, build, and maintain internal tools, dashboards, and reporting systems supporting Operations and business teams.
Partner with C-level executives, traders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-impact, scalable solutions.
Develop backend services and APIs supporting the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, reconciliation, P&L;, settlements, and accounting feeds.
Improve system performance, reliability, and observability through testing, monitoring, automation, and production support.
What We Are Looking For
3–5 years of professional software development experience.
Strong experience with Python and backend web development frameworks.
Proven ability to manage stakeholders.
Solid understanding of databases and data modeling (SQL preferred).
Strong communication skills.
