SRI is seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and optimal performance of mission-critical databases that support business applications and services.
About the Role
Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle Database environments across development, test, and production systems.
Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal system operation.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Database environments across development, test, and production systems.
Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal system operation.
Perform routine database maintenance activities, including patching, backups, recovery testing, and health checks.
Manage database storage structures, tablespaces, users, roles, and privileges.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents, performance bottlenecks, and system issues.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of hands-on experience administering Oracle databases in enterprise environments.
Proficiency in Oracle RMAN, Data Guard, ASM, and database backup/recovery strategies.
