Join our team as a Senior Officer, Migration and contribute to the development of migration policies and strategies that promote the rights and dignity of migrants.
About the Role
Provide technical guidance on migration aligned with IFRC policies and the Migration Strategy.
Integrate migration standards across the Humane, Dignified, Sustainable Migration and Return Programme.
What You Will Do
Lead the collection and analysis of migration trends.
Provide tailored technical support to National Societies in enhancing their operational capacities.
Promote participatory approaches to strengthen program quality.
Assist in institutional strengthening and ensure effective documentation and reporting of migration-related activities.
What We Are Looking For
Advanced university degree in a relevant field related to migration, displacement, humanitarian action, international relations, social policy or related technical discipline.
3 years of experience in the humanitarian or development sector with a significant portion at global, multi-regional or cross-country level.
Experience in migration and displacement programming, or systems-strengthening.
Knowledge of IFRC operational framework, tools and procedures.
Fluent spoken and written English.
