What You Will Do
Design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in Government and History.
Assess student progress through exams, assignments, and continuous evaluation.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and discussion.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and curriculum development.
Support students’ personal and academic growth through mentorship and feedback.
Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and community engagement activities.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and promote student success.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Political Science, History, International Relations, Social Studies, or related field.
Teaching qualification (B.Ed., B.A. (Ed.)).
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Government and History at secondary school level.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian curriculum and examination requirements (WAEC, NECO, JAMB).
Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire students and make historical and political concepts relevant and engaging.
Nice to Have
Basic computer literacy.
