About the Role
As Director of Taxes, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company’s global tax strategy. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure tax compliance, optimize tax structures, and identify opportunities for tax savings. You’ll also oversee tax reporting, audit preparation, and tax risk management.
What You Will Do
Lead the development and execution of global tax strategy aligned with business growth.
Manage tax compliance across jurisdictions and ensure adherence to evolving tax regulations.
Oversee tax accounting, reporting, and audit preparation for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with finance, legal, and executive leadership to drive tax-related business decisions.
Identify and implement tax optimization opportunities to reduce tax burden and increase efficiency.
Manage third-party tax advisors and ensure effective vendor relationships.
Prepare and present tax-related financial forecasts and risk assessments to senior leadership.
Stay current on global tax trends and emerging regulatory changes.
What We Are Looking For
8+ years of experience in corporate tax, international tax, or tax strategy.
Proven experience managing global tax operations and compliance.
Strong understanding of U.S. and international tax laws and regulations.
Experience with tax software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and lead complex projects with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
BS/MS in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
