About the Role
We are seeking a highly competent and reliable Warehouse Keeper to join our team in Zifta, Gharbia Governorate. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for managing metal and scrap inventory, supervising weighing and sorting operations, and accurately recording all incoming and outgoing shipments.
What You Will Do
Receive & Sort Scrap: Inspect incoming metal shipments and accurately classify them by material type (iron, copper, aluminum, etc.).
Supervise Weighing: Monitor and verify shipment weights on weighbridges (Bascul scales) or platform scales, documenting all figures precisely.
Inventory Control: Record all stock receipts and issuance vouchers manually and on computer systems to prevent discrepancies or waste.
Supervise Loading/Unloading: Direct laborers and equipment operators (e.g., forklift drivers) during the handling of heavy metal materials.
Cycle Counting: Conduct regular and spot inventory audits to match physical weights and quantities with system records.
Health & Safety: Strictly enforce occupational health and safety rules given the sharp and heavy nature of industrial metal materials.
