Kinky Apothecary · Kinky Apothecary, Sea Mall – Left Wing 3, First Floor, Plot 13, Block 12, Admiralty Way, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria
We are looking for driven, ambitious self-starters to join our team as we continue in our mission to disrupt conformity and change the traditional narrative of beauty in the industry. We initially launched 15 years ago as a purely retail platform (Nigeria’s first natural hair company, in fact!) and, in our quest to shatter Eurocentric beauty standards, we restructured and rebranded in 2020 to adopt a science- and data-driven approach to democratizing the haircare industry. We’re building the beauty brand of the future—a new standard in understanding, caring for and celebrating hair, rooted in African culture. As we expand our new Lekki Salon + Retail Store, we are searching for LAGOS-BASED Salon Managers to oversee the new space.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the salon.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee staff performance and training.
- Manage inventory and supplies.
- Implement marketing strategies to increase client base.
- Maintain financial records and budgets.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 3 years of experience in salon or retail management.
- Proven experience managing teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new trends in the beauty industry.
Additional Notes:
- Must be based in Lagos, specifically Lekki.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Must be comfortable with physical tasks such as assisting with client services.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Application:
- Submit your application through the provided form on forms.gle.
- Include a cover letter explaining why you are the ideal candidate.
- Attach your CV or resume.
Salary:
- Monthly salary ranging from NGN 350,000 to NGN 450,000.
Work Environment:
- On-site at Kinky Apothecary, Sea Mall – Left Wing 3, First Floor, Plot 13, Block 12, Admiralty Way, Lekki, Lagos.
- Fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Opportunity to grow within the company and contribute to its mission of revolutionizing the beauty industry in Nigeria.
