De Chinese Muur in Puttershoek is a Chinese-Indonesian takeaway restaurant offering a wide selection of freshly prepared Chinese and Indonesian dishes. To strengthen the kitchen team, De Chinese Muur is looking for 2 Independent Cooks I.
Position & Responsibilities
As an Independent Cook I, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen activities and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your responsibilities include:
Independently preparing ingredients (mise-en-place)
Applying fundamental cooking techniques
Contributing ideas and providing input on the composition and adjustment of menus, menu items and working methods
Taking responsibility for inventory management and placing orders
Providing technical guidance and supervising kitchen assistant(s).
What do you bring as an Independent Cook I?
MBO Level 3 working and thinking level or equivalent
Demonstrable knowledge of fundamental cooking techniques
Independent, responsible and able to perform well under pressure
Team player with an eye for quality and hygiene.
What do we offer from De Chinese Muur?
Competitive salary: €2,650 – €3,250 gross per month (depending on skills)
