About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Accountant (Cashier) to join our team at porcelia in Rehab City, Cairo. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing cash transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures.
Responsibilities
Receive cash from customers against invoices
Issue official receipts
Store cash securely in the safe
Accurately process cash disbursements and deliveries
Reconcile cash balances at the end of the day
Record all cash transactions in the designated ledgers
Prepare daily cash statements
Reconcile cash records with accounting records
Maintain organized cash records
Prepare cash flow reports
What We Are Looking For
Knowledge of cash and banking procedures
Familiarity with invoicing and receipt systems
Accurate and fast cash handling skills
Rapid mental calculation skills
Proficiency in using calculators and cash registers
Customer communication skills
