We are seeking an experienced IP Senior Associate to manage patent litigation, IPR proceedings, and advise clients on complex IP matters with courtroom exposure.
About the Role
This is a frontline litigation position on the team offering immediate responsibility in an active district court case, direct involvement in case strategy, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation, meaningful courtroom exposure and client interaction, active docket, not pipeline speculation.
Responsibilities:
Manage intellectual property disputes from inception through trial, including patent litigation and post-grant proceedings such as inter partes review (IPR) before the PTAB
Advise clients on risk assessment, litigation and trial strategy, IPR petition strategy and defense
Assist in discovery, including fact and expert discovery, ESI strategy, depositions, and discovery motion practice
Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions, including claim construction, summary judgment, and Daubert motions
Cultivate and expand client relationships, actively contributing to business development and practice growth initiatives
