The GICHD is seeking an intern for a 6-month position in Information Management, focusing on improving operations related to explosive ordnance risk reduction.
About the Role
Assist in the customization and technical development of the Information Management System for Mine Action (IMSMA Core).
Responsibilities
Research and test new AI tools that could improve IMSMA Core implementation with partner countries.
Support country implementations: build Survey123 forms, clean and migrate data, and create dashboards and simple web applications.
Provide hands-on support to ongoing country deployments of IMSMA Core.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation of technical solutions and best practices.
What We Are Looking For
Good knowledge of GIS tools, particularly Web GIS and data collection tools (ArcGIS Portal and/or ArcGIS Online, Survey123, etc.).
Background in and/or good understanding of AI and GeoAI.
Independent, proactive and self-motivated working style.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
