About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Field Automation Engineer (m/f/d) – PLC & Robotics to join our team in the US. As a key member of our team, you will support our customers by integrating complex automation solutions.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve PLC, drive and robotics issues on-site
Commission, integrate, and modify PLCs (SIEMENS, Allen Bradley) and robotic systems
Perform diagnostics and optimize system performance
Maintain robotic systems for smooth operations at customer locations
Collaborate with teams in the US and Germany for system reliability
Provide on-site and remote technical support and address customer inquiries
Train and assist customers in system functionality and troubleshooting
What We Are Looking For
Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering preferred
One year of experience in a similar position is a plus
Experience with PLCs (SIEMENS, Allen Bradley) and drives
Strong troubleshooting skills for PLCs
Knowledge of robotic systems (industrial robots e.g. Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB) is a plus
Basic LabView knowledge for troubleshooting is a plus
Proficiency in Windows (Network, Office, etc.)
Excellent communication skills for customer interaction
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Advanced English (technical proficiency)
