About the Role
We are seeking a Fashion Design and Technology Lecturer to join our team at Loughborough University. The successful candidate will have strong applied expertise in fashion design and technology, with experience of delivering engaging teaching in fashion design and/or fashion technology.
What You Will Do
Deliver innovative, high-quality teaching and ensure excellent student outcomes.
Contribute to curriculum development and pedagogic innovation, supporting a learning experience that combines traditional fashion design skills with emerging technologies and contemporary practice.
What We Are Looking For
A strong applied background in fashion design and technology, with high-level industry experience.
Experience of delivering engaging, hands-on teaching in fashion design and/or fashion technology.
High-level skills in pattern cutting, draping and/or garment development, with an understanding of ergonomics and functionality.
A contemporary outlook on fashion practice, including sustainability, production methods and emerging technologies.
The ability to work collaboratively across academic, technical and industry contexts.
