DIGNITY - Danish Institute Against Torture · Bryggervangen 55, 2100 Kbh. Ø, Denmark
Are you an experienced analyst in international criminal law, motivated by the opportunity to turn complex information and evidence of violations in Belarus into concrete contributions to accountability efforts, supporting national prosecutors and an ongoing ICC investigation? Then DIGNITY - Danish Institute Against Torture is seeking a Senior Analyst for the International Accountability Platform for Belarus.
The International Accountability Platform for Belarus (IAPB) is composed of two Belarusian co-lead organisations, Human Rights Center Viasna and International Committee for the Investigation of Torture in Belarus, and its lead organisation DIGNITY – Danish Institute against Torture. Since its establishment, it has continued to expand its evidence base and analytical outputs, collecting testimonies of some 2,900 victims and witnesses, over 38,000 victim-related documents and over 2.1 million open-source items, including extensive audiovisual and textual materials. Cooperation with accountability mechanisms contributed to the decision of the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to open an investigation into crimes against humanity related to the Lithuania/Belarus situation. Overall, by June 2026, the Platform had responded to 14 requests from national jurisdictions and prepared 13 submissions to multiple international mechanisms. As part of its survivor-centred approach, so far it has provided mental health and psychosocial support to 850 beneficiaries. Beyond documentation and support activities, the IAPB promotes accountability pathways for Belarus, outlined in its report “Paths to Accountability for Belarus”.
