The Senior Officer, Road Policing will provide technical advice and guidance to implement the Road Policing Capacity Building programme in key cities across Latin America. This role involves optimizing road policing practices, designing and delivering training workshops, and mentoring police and traffic enforcement agencies. The officer will also monitor the social, political, and economic environments to inform capacity building efforts and ensure alignment with global road safety initiatives. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance road safety and reduce traffic-related injuries and fatalities.
Candidate Requirements:
8+ years of operational road policing experience
Experience in developing training plans
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of road safety management
Fluent in English
Ability to assess and strengthen enforcement strategies
Experience working with governments and media
Kindly note that is role will be based in the Americas, either in Panama City, Panama or Buenos Aires Argentina.
