Join our team as a Finance & Risk Management Officer and contribute to the mission of accompanying and serving forcibly displaced people with compassion and solidarity.
About the Role
Provide financial management support to the Country Director and other senior staff members.
Ensure compliance with donor regulations, JRS policies and procedures, and international standards for financial management.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including cash receipts, payments, and bank statements.
Prepare and review financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis, to ensure transparency and accountability.
Develop and implement financial management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with donor regulations and JRS standards.
Provide training and capacity-building support to finance staff on financial management best practices and software applications.
What We Are Looking For
A University degree in accounting, finance, business and administration, project management or related areas.
At least three (3) years of professional experience working in an accounting or finance-related role.
Experience in a similar capacity with international, non-profit organizations is highly desirable.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or Business Central is highly desirable.
