About the Role
The IRC is seeking highly motivated individuals to participate in our Community Health Worker training program. This position is intended as an entry level transitional opportunity that supports the development of foundational skills in outreach, health education, healthcare navigation, and community engagement.
What You Will Do
Support culturally and linguistically responsive outreach and health promotion activities within refugee and immigrant communities.
Assist with community education efforts, resource navigation, outreach events, and basic data collection.
Develop professional skills and exposure to community based health and social service settings.
What We Are Looking For
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Bilingual or multilingual skills (a plus).
