The County of San Diego is hiring for Departmental Human Resources Officer.
What You Will Do
Coordinate selection, hiring, and onboarding of departmental staff
Work with the Department of Human Resources to develop recruitment and outreach strategies to attract quality candidates
Advise departmental managers on various human resources matters
Conduct investigations and implement County-wide human resources policies
What We Are Looking For
Demonstrate thorough knowledge and a solid understanding of the concepts of Diversity and Inclusion
Demonstrate thorough knowledge and a solid understanding of human resources policies and procedures
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with staff, managers, and individuals outside of the department at all levels of the organization
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of organizational and multi-tasking skills
