About This Role
This opportunity is part of our Wattle Place team. Wattle Place is a place of understanding, support and hope for people who grew up in care, former state wards and orphans; Forgotten Australians; the Stolen Generations; people impacted by past Forced Adoption Practices and people impacted by the National Redress Scheme.
What You Will Do
Deliver high-quality, trauma-informed therapeutic casework to individuals impacted by complex childhood trauma.
Support clients in accessing the National Redress Scheme, including preparing applications and managing expectations.
Actively support client understanding of the National Redress Scheme and manage expectations.
Review / prepare applications for National Redress Scheme, Victim Impact statements, responses to subpoenas.
Deliver services in person, over the phone, and online, often in collaboration with other services.
