Chiang Mai Hilversum is a Thai restaurant known for its authentic Thai cuisine, fresh ingredients, and traditional flavors. Guests can enjoy a diverse menu featuring dishes that highlight the rich and distinctive flavors of Thailand. To strengthen our kitchen team, we are looking for 2 Independent Cook I.
Job Responsibilities
As an Independent Cook I, you will be responsible for independently carrying out kitchen duties and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.
Your responsibilities include:
- Independently preparing ingredients (mise en place)
- Applying fundamental cooking techniques
- Contributing ideas for the composition and improvement of menus, menu items, and working methods
- Managing stock and placing orders
- Providing technical guidance and supervision to kitchen assistants.
Requirements
What do you bring as an Independent Cook I?
- MBO Level 3 working and thinking level or equivalent
- Demonstrable knowledge of fundamental cooking techniques
- Independent, responsible, and able to perform well under pressure
- A team player with an eye for quality and hygiene.
