The Global Crop Diversity Trust is seeking an outstanding candidate for the position of Information Technology Specialist. The successful candidate will assist the Crop Trust in strengthening its data and reporting capabilities to support evidence-based decision-making at the executive level.
About the Role
Under the direct supervision of the corporate IT Manager, the IT Specialist assists the Crop Trust in strengthening its data and reporting capabilities to support evidence-based decision-making at the executive level. In order to achieve this, the IT Specialist will design, implement, and manage a robust data architecture and reporting framework taking advantage of business intelligence methodologies and building on the organization’s corporate salesforce system.
What You Will Do
Translate executive and business reporting needs into structured data models and scalable technical solutions
Design, manage, and optimize Salesforce data architecture, including custom objects, fields, and automations to support reporting requirements
Develop and maintain data pipelines integrating Salesforce with additional data sources, including handling and incorporating legacy data
Lead the design and delivery of high-quality dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI for executive decision-making
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and alignment across systems, while promoting best practices in data management and reporting
Provide ongoing Salesforce administration as needed including system maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of reported issues
