About the Role
This position is for maternity coverage and will support IOM’s communications and outreach strategy in Ukraine. You will be based in multiple regions including Dnipro, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Poltava. The role requires frequent travel to field locations to gather content, produce materials, and engage with stakeholders. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure messaging aligns with organizational goals and humanitarian needs.
What You Will Do
Prepare visibility plans for IOM activities in designated regions.
Engage with local and international stakeholders to promote IOM programs.
Travel frequently to field locations to gather content and report on operations.
Produce various communications materials including press releases, social media content, and reports.
Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information to target audiences.
Collaborate with internal teams to align communications with organizational goals.
Support crisis communication efforts during emergency response scenarios.
Maintain professional standards and adhere to IOM’s values and ethical guidelines.
What We Are Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years experience, or Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism with 4 years experience.
Experience in print, broadcast, internet media, public information, communications, outreach or visibility activities.
Experience in developing content for social media and digital communications.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Fluency in English and Ukrainian.
