About the Role
The Boiler and Machinery (B&M) Engineer/Specialist will be responsible for managing Vistra's B&M program activities, providing sound engineering judgment to identify program gaps across the fleet consistent with established program guidelines. The position will also involve industry user groups and forums to bring industry-leading ideas back to the Vistra organization.
What You Will Do
Facilitate the B&M Program adherence across the Fleet.
Lead B&M Sub team, conduct periodic team meetings and update B&M Standard as needed.
Work with site staff to implement the latest B&M Standard changes.
Conduct specific spot audits of B&M program activities for the sites.
Support site staff as point of contact for B&M program activities questions or concerns.
Execute short-term and long-term B&M performance activities.
Maintain the visibility and priority of B&M hazard management program.
