About the Role
Majesty Schools is seeking a passionate and experienced Business Studies & Commerce Teacher to join our team. You will play a vital role in preparing students for academic and professional success by delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that connect theory to real-world applications. What You Will Do
Deliver dynamic, curriculum-aligned lessons in Business Studies and Commerce.
Design and implement assessments that measure student understanding and growth.
Support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and curriculum delivery.
Maintain accurate student records and participate in school-wide professional development.
Engage students through real-world applications of business concepts.
Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and resilience.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and community outreach initiatives.
What We Are Looking For
B.Ed., B.Sc. (Ed.), or B.Sc. in Business Education, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or related field with teaching qualification.
At least 2 years of teaching experience in Business Studies and/or Commerce at the secondary school level.
Strong knowledge of the Nigerian curriculum and examination requirements (WAEC, NECO, and BECE).
Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire students and relate business concepts to real-life situations.
Nice to Have
Basic computer literacy.
