About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced R&D; Chemist to join our team in Sharqia, Egypt. As an R&D; Chemist at Intertrade Co., you will be responsible for conducting laboratory research and testing to develop and improve PVC compound formulations.
Responsibilities:
Conduct laboratory research and testing to develop and improve PVC compound formulations.
Develop new PVC recipes for different applications such as gaskets, cables, fittings and industrial products.
Work on cost reduction and raw material optimization projects while maintaining product quality and performance.
Analyze customer technical data sheets and specifications and convert them into practical formulations and production parameters.
Evaluate raw materials, additives, stabilizers, fillers, and pigments for performance and compatibility.
Perform laboratory testing and quality checks on PVC compounds and finished products.
Support Production during trials, startup, and troubleshooting of PVC compounding processes.
Investigate product or process issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
