About the Role
The World Customs Organization (WCO) is seeking a Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) Project Trainer to support capacity building in Customs and law enforcement agencies in North Africa and the Middle East.
What You Will Do
Organize and deliver training workshops
Produce educational materials
Provide technical advice to Customs administrations
What We Are Looking For
University degree in a relevant field
Minimum 7 years in Customs or Border Control/Law Enforcement
Experience in countering illicit trafficking of SALW
Proven experience in delivering international trainings
Fluency in English
Nice to Have
Knowledge of French and/or Arabic is an asset
We are looking for a senior-level trainer with excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team and multinational environment, and willingness to travel. The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
