We are seeking a University Professorship in Human Geography to advance the field of human geography in research and teaching both conceptually and in terms of content.
Responsibilities
Develop a theory-driven and transdisciplinary research program with high social relevance.
Provide excellent teaching in German and English-language courses.
Actively expand interdisciplinary cooperation at KIT.
Design and implement field trips for the geography degree programs.
Contribute human geography perspectives to geoecology and other programs at the KIT Faculty of Civil Engineering, Geo and Environmental Sciences.
Participate in academic self-administration and acquire external funding for research and innovation.
