About the Role
As a Senior Asset Development Engineer, you’ll be part of a growing team focused on delivering products in rapid cycles to augment and extend Five9’s core offerings. You’ll work remotely (or hybrid if within 30 miles of an office) using modern development tools and methodologies to automate software definition, architecture, development, and delivery.
What You Will Do
Develop and deliver software products using modern toolchains and rapid development cycles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams via web conferences and chat tools.
Work independently while staying aligned with team goals and timelines.
Implement and maintain cloud-based applications using AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Design and develop web-based applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, VueJS, and Nest.js.
Automate testing, linting, and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.
Work with source control systems like Git and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
Contribute to architecture and design decisions for scalable, maintainable systems.
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of application or integration software development experience.
3+ years of web-based application development using HTML5, JavaScript, and frameworks like VueJS, ReactJS, or Angular.
1+ year of experience with cloud hosting services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) or self-hosted Node.js services.
Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and Node.js.
Proficiency in VueJS, Nest.js, and TypeScript.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, and Visual Studio Code.
Understanding of cloud-based software architectures and web APIs (REST, SOAP, WebSockets).
Familiarity with Unix command-line tools.
Knowledge of Contact Center technologies (Cisco ICM/UCCE, Genesys, Avaya) is a plus.
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
