The World Council of Churches (WCC) is seeking a Coordinator for the Ecumenical Office to the United Nations (EOUN) in New York, in charge of Advocacy Work. The successful candidate will serve as the primary facilitator for deepening coordination among ecumenical advocacy partners at the UN, ensuring joint strategies, shared messaging, and collaborative action within the New York-based ecumenical and faith-based community.
About the Role
Serve as the primary facilitator for deepening coordination among ecumenical advocacy partners at the UN, ensuring joint strategies, shared messaging, and collaborative action within the New York-based ecumenical and faith-based community.
Represent the WCC at the United Nations and other multilateral/intergovernmental forums and organisations in New York and Washington DC.
Monitor and analyse UN and International Financial Institutions processes and policy developments relevant to WCC priorities, including peace and security, disarmament, human rights, sustainable development, and climate justice.
