Penrith Women's Health Centre is seeking an Intake Support Worker to join our Health and Wellbeing Services team. The role supports front of house workflow, provides a warm and trauma informed welcome to all walk ins, telephone and face to face scheduled presentations.
About the Role
The Intake Support Worker is the first point of contact for women seeking access to PWHC services across both Health and Wellbeing Services and Safety and Empowerment Services. The role supports front of house workflow, provides a warm and trauma informed welcome to all walk ins, telephone and face to face scheduled presentations.
Responsibilities
Completes an initial intake assessment of presenting needs
Assesses practical support brokerage eligibility
Facilitates safe referral pathways
Maintains a small non domestic and family violence support caseload & coordinates Work Development Order clients
Participates in relevant community sector events and hubs
