About the Role
The Accounting Manager will own the month-end close and general ledger accounting operations for Alpha Lion. In this role, you will execute close tasks with precision, maintain accurate and well-documented GL records, and continuously improve accounting processes to support a fast-growing business.
Responsibilities
Own and execute month-end close tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, transaction coding, and financial statement preparation
Maintain GL accuracy and ensure all entries are properly supported and audit-ready
Complete recurring weekly accounting tasks such as data sync monitoring, transaction processing, and report maintenance
Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
Partner with cross-functional teams on ad hoc projects including ERP improvements, data flows, and tax preparation support
