About the Role
Drive our clients' trucks and other vehicles for which you hold a valid driver's license on official assignments countrywide.
Ensure that our clients' food commodities and non-food items are transported to the destination and consignee specified on the waybill without pilferage, damage or any undue delay.
What You Will Do
Obtain the signature of the consignee on the waybill upon delivery of cargo (food and non-food items) to the specified destination and return the signed waybill to the origin warehouse or EDP.
Detect mechanical and electrical faults on the vehicle and report them immediately to the Fleet Manager.
Carry out preventative maintenance on your truck and assist with basic servicing.
Ensure the vehicle is taken for servicing or repair as and when required in a timely manner.
Maintain mileage logbook and ensure all fuel issued is entered accurately into the logbook.
What We Are Looking For
A valid driver's license.
Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
