About the Role
As a Cost Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing comprehensive cost estimates for projects at various stages, from early concept to booking. You’ll lead cost engineering projects, perform data analysis, conduct studies such as internal/external benchmarks, should-cost analyses, TCOs, and indexation models, and provide recommendations for cost reductions, cost avoidance, and business enhancements.
What You Will Do
Lead the communications and internal customer management with the Category (ies)
Develop cost estimates for projects at various stages, from early concept to booking
Support continuous improvement process projects
Prepare and present business value opportunities, providing insights and recommendations to enhance procurement strategies and value
Collaborate with cross-functional global teams and effectively communicate with stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Advance English level
Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
5 years of prior experience (2 years in costing or analytical roles)
Oil & Gas / Energy experience
Strong understanding of cost estimating techniques and tools to evaluate competitiveness
Ability to manage multiple projects
Technical skills: project management, engineering principles, software proficiency (Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint, SQL)
